measure diameter without writing program

pretty basic question: How do you measure a simple diameter without writing a program? I can beep 4 points around the circle and see they've been accepted in the lower right hand box, but I can't seem to get the diameter to calculate? Thank you.

  • The "correct" way would probably be to manually measure a cylinder, primary align to it (lets say in Z), set the origin in it for X, Y, repeat the cylinder measurement and alignment in DCC and then measure the diameter either as a circle or cylinder (in DCC).
Could be nice with a plane or something to use as origin in Z, for depth control.

But who got time for this... Wink
