Round edge on a diameter

I have a part. Imagine a 1" thick disk 3" OD the diameter is actually a cone, so top of disc is 3" and bottom of disc is 2.5" just to get an idea of the draft profile. The top of the disc isn't a sharp point to the top surface but has a continuous radius around the OD. How should I measure the OD of the radius, which is the OD of the part on the print?

  • Callout is the outer diameter of the disc, and I need it to establish a secondary datum. I was able to sample the radius on the diameter and find the center point then drive vector points to the theoretical tangent and construct a circle as the OD. How can I section the part and drive hits on the section? Like section a sphere and drive hits to a circle?
