Grid Scan "probe inside clearance cube" between rows..

love the grid scan. very useful.

but i've never used it with the clearance cube...

my current scan is giving me a prompt "probe inside clearance cube..." each time it completes a row.

any idea how to make that go away... without pressing "enter" each time?

  • The only way I know how to make this go away is to turn off the clearance cube for the selected feature. Go to ClearanceCube definiton or CTRL + C by default and go to the advanced tab, switch it off for the selected feature. You can also add an incremental move point out of the clearance cube each time (I would not suggest this as it would add time to the routine and make it look funky but would run nonetheless). I would get used to changing which features use the ClearanceCube so you don't waste too much time in your routines.
