2021.2 CAD++ constantly crashing

2021.2 CAD++ Service Pack 6 constantly crashing

I can usually open about 4-5 different programs and then PCDMIS completely crashes. The programs aren't open at the same time. I'll open one, run, edit, or nothing, close it and then open up a new one that I need to work on. After about 3-5 times PCDMIS crashes and I have to restart the entire computer to get PCDMIS to start up again.

Is this something anyone else is dealing with?

  • I got pc dmis 2022.2 and it crashes constantly. I open a program, walk away from the computer for a while and come back and pc-dmis isn't open. I don't know if it has stayed open for more than hour without crashing. It also randomly minimizes when you complete a feature. I don't need to restart the computer each time though I just re-open.

    Did you manage to resolve this?

    I tried running in Admin mode as someone had suggested but then it wouldn't let me access the company drive to import iges files. So I just ran normal and in the past 2 weeks it hasn't crashed on me. No idea what changed. It still will minimize when you complete a feature or finish a program which is annoying but not a big problem.
