I am receiving files from another plant within our company. When I try to open the .prg file I receive the message in the title and windows begins a download/install process. I stopped the install to double check before letting it continue. Was trying to figure out: Will old programs I wrote still work if it configures? Or is there a way to open files without configuring? I run 2018 R2 SP 14. My OS is a 64 bit system.
if yes, first start pcDMIS and then use the open button within pcDMIS.
otherwise there is maybe the error "wrong scheme" when opening old measurement routines.
in this case you have not started / installed the right pcDMIS version for this File
I did. When using the "open" button within pcDMIS I'm told the file was created in a newer version, so there's my issue! I'll have to update to a later version to open it. Thank you!
