I'm measuring some Camshafts and I need to measure the Lobe Lift. I have access to a CAD Model, and it's fairly simple to measure the Base Circle, but I'm not figuring out a good way to measure the Lobe on the Cam. The only thing I've done is measured a Linear Open Scan across the Lobe. Don't really know how to proceed from here. I've constructed a Curve from the scan, but it's not being of much use. I've also tried constructing a max point from the Scan, but it's not really working as well.
