2022.2 vs all other versions

So I am a little confused and have tried the search, Facebook and other things and not finding much help. This is not a rant but a call for help.

I started PCDMIS running 2014. I moved to 2019. I have worked with 2020.1 and 2021.1( my favorite!!!) and now 2022.2. I have also worked with Clypiso and Mcosmos and verisurf. I have never had more issues with programs crashing, PCD crashing, crashing probes on proven programs and during calibration, the lack of faith in the accuracy of the measurement as I have in 2022.2 I have no doubt some of that is due to alignment issues(old programer have no idea what he was doing due to lack of training). But programs that we have ran for years on 2020 or 2021 now do not run at all in 2022.2. I can write programs in 2022.2 and they run great one day the next they crash or have errors. I do use GETOL not much legacy. However, ALL of my drawings and cads are to 2009, not 2018 standard. So maybe I should be using legacy. I have used the Hexagon tech line more in the last 2 months than I have in my whole 27 year career. So in short not only am I not understanding what going on, management is getting very upset. So can anyone help me understand what I am missing or doing wrong?? Do I have a mechanical issue, a program issue, a calibration issue, 2022.2 issue, or a combination issue?

The Geometric Tolerance command (or more specifically, the GDT library that it uses in the background) supports BOTH 2009 and 2018 so there should be no problems on that front.

For everything else, we'd need way more information to understand exactly what might be going on. It may be that something went wrong when you moved from 2021.1 to 2022.2 - bad install, settings not copied over correctly, PC-DMIS not launched as administrator the first time it was run. Do you still have 2021.1 installed and does it still run as it used to or do you now see similar problems there? If that's the case then my suspicion would be a change on the IT side - new domain policy applied, corrupt update etc.

Can you please send me a private message with the name of the person (or people) you've been talking to at tech support? They should have already asked all the pertinent questions, but if not, I can steer them in the right direction.
