Fast calibration question

Hello guys!

Fast question. I calibrate a tip with a "A" config in terms of prehit retract speed etc, I recalibrate the same tip changing this config to B. The values for both configs are stored or B replaces A? In a program that requires both configs, could I use them both with calibrating A and B before the program start? Thanks in advance!

  • Only the last calibration is stored.

If you want to use different parameters you would need to:

    a) Use an auto calibrate command in the program
    b) Possibly have two different probe files - one you calibrate with one setting and the other the other. I'm not 100% sure on this (so test carefully if you try this) , but you might be able to add both to the same probe rack slot, but I would imagine it would in effect drop off then pick up the same probe.
