Having an issue with custom disk probe

Hi, I am having an issue building a custom disk probe for pc-dmis CAD Version 2017 R2 Release - build #1424 (Service Pack 14).

Here is what I have:

Problem is when I go to calibrate the probe with the artifact it moves way below the artifact and doesn't touch.
Including the print for the probe.

Any help will be great.

  • Your custom stylus definition looks good to me. I'm guessing there is something wrong with the way you are calibrating it.

    With disc probes I tend to have pretty good luck telling the software that the sphere has not moved and let it find the sphere in DCC mode.

    What type of probe are you using?
