Scanning interrupted circles.Advice please!

Hey folks. I need some advice. I want to scan the diameter of a bladed disk to get the Diameter and form. How do I go about scanning an interrupted surface like that? Is it possible to create a circular scan or do I need to do a bunch of small scans and extract the extreme point of each the construct a circle from that?

  • Make a circle scan with the desired angle ( for example start 0 end 15 degree) Make a loop and then make a construced circle of the small scans Slight smile you can do the same with linear open scans. !! Important, make sure your workplane is set correctly or Pc-DMIS will trick you Slight smile If you dont prefer loop "insert with pattern" option is works well too, i just like my programs nice clean and tidy and short as possible so i do loops.
