Cris_CbrowningdmisNcogneto What is the added benefit? What are some elements of the software that you feel make it better than just hand ballooning a print. (most of my prints have a max of 80ish dimensions)

it works with PC-demon, pretty simple to use, small exported file size so it move to the network pretty fast.
Someone mentioned, on another thread, that DISCUS only works with legacy dimensioning. Can anyone confirm what dimensioning that DISCUS does or does not work with?
we moved to a custom inhouse designed tool for exporting pcdmis data into our ERP system that uses excel. Discus is free to try for 7 days, give it a shot and let us know if it works with xact / geotol. IT has tied my hands with software installs outside of PC-dmis otherwise i would. or ask

I don't know much about any interfacing options between PC-DMIS and DISCUS. We work with such low production quantities (mostly prototype stuff) that we just do all the documentation manually in Excel. We are probably not using all that DISCUS has to offer.
