Relating new probe angles to master calibration...

Recently I have had this issue...

We have a newer chrome machine that uses the Hexagon branded probe head and scanning module etc... sometimes we run into older programs that have not had the probe build changed in order to run on the new machine and occasionally we will have to add a probe angle and calibrate it so that we can get the part program to run. When I add that said probe angle, how do I calibrate it so that it does not mess with the calibration of the rest of the machine? I added an angle yesterday A105B0 and have tried both ways and both make the machine lose its calibration.

The 1st one I tried was creating an autocalibration routine with a parameter set that included the "Master Probe" A0B0 only qual sphere moved as yes. Then loading the "1.5x30" with a parameter set that included the A105B0 angle only. That angle calibrates great but when I run any other programs that use the 1.5x30 it seems to have lost its calibration. Is this because of the reset tips to theos checkbox? Won't it only reset the angles that are selected for that parameter set or is it doing all of the angles that are located in that probe file?

The 2nd one I tried was creating an autocalibration routine with a parameter set that included the "1.5x30" with A105B0 angle only without a Master Probe but I had to touch off the calibration sphere because it had moved when I ran a part to test if the calibration for other angles was lost or not. I have been doing CMM programming for 6 years and I have never had this issue previously...

My master calibration routine has a master probe that is never used for production; that is a 5x20 probe with no extensions. I have that as the qual sphere has moved so that it is used as the "Master" and the theo, fast and meas values are exactly the same so the other probes can relate to that for calibration. I move right to left in regard to the ports in the rack and I have DCC+DCC used at default for all other probes with qual sphere as not moved using 25 hits plus the 4 locating hits to find the sphere and reset tips to theos at start of calibration is checked and the overwrite results logfile is also checked in hopes that it does not seemingly corrupt a probe file due to file sizes and such...

Any ideas on what could be wrong with this?
