I am problems with PC-DMIS not wanting to launch the Power Point work instructions that i have inserted into the program. I insert them offline, and then try to test the program at the machine and I get a Failure to Launch error. Then the icon disappears. We are currently running the 2020R2 version. It worked fine in the 2019 version.
Not the easy way to handle it, but what if you load each slide into its own operator comment, then you can have a Yes/No input that asks if they wish to see the setup again. Default of "Yes" goes to review the instructions (prevents hitting enter repeatedly), selection of "No" enables them to carry on with the run.
Yes, it is long, but if you NEED powerpoint at each workstation, it would by pass the hardship if your IT will not install it at each workstation.
