I've asked around at work and the general answer is no. A colleague thinks the CMS106 may be able to be connected (but he's only about 75% on this), but it's now obsolete (not in terms of support but as in you can't buy it anymore).
I know you may just think I'm being biased, but in my 100% honest opinion, the laser sensors have been been integrated extremely well into PC-Dmis, both in terms of data collection and Pointcloud operations (i.e. feature extraction).
Okay, I had a quick chat with a salesman and it's his understanding that the HPL 10.6 (CMS106) or HPL 5.8 with the Renishaw autojoint will work on the Renishaw PH10M or PH10MQ. There are other considerations regarding the controller and wiring but if you're running a SP25, you should be okay. There are a few issues though, first is that both of those product lines are at end of life and have been replaced with the newer HPL 10.10. Now all things being the same, technically the 10.10 could work too but it does not come with a Renishaw autojoint, and most importantly the PH10M or MQ drive torque isn't sufficient enough to support a HPL 10.10, even if it did have the right connector on it.
