iterative alignment error

I have recently updated software to PC-DMIS CAD++ 2023.1. For some reason, each new program I try to write, I get an error when creating an iterative alignment. I am not new to PC-DMIS but I have gone from 4.3 to 2023.1 and a new computer. Is there an issue anyone knows about and can explain to me or can I blame the .iges file I have to import?
  • I know it wasn't stated and isn't relevant to the above issue, but everyone always remember; iterative alignments require sample points to be turned on and taken.

This caused me hours of lost time for such a simple overlook.
  • Besides what everyone else saidWink

The alignment needs the MEAS ALL FEAT = ALWAYS and it needs a figure in the FIXTURE TOL. it's currently set to zero. HTH

YES, you need a fixture tolerance or it will cycle through the alignment as many times as you have for the iterations
YES to the sample hits for things like Edge, Circle, Slot.
NO for the MEASURE ALL ALWAYS if it is the MANUAL alignment, YES for the DCC alignment.
