Updated pcdmis 2023.2 gd + t

I updated my software and now I’m unable to run my program or get the correct surface dimension and I’m not sure what it’s asking . But the related dimensions now won’t measure .

  • How do I properly make the adjustments for it to dimension the surface profile ? I ordinally measured circles around the feature then grouped those together but now I'm getting this error.
  • Profile of a line is a 2D measurement, think of it as having the same workplane requirements as a measured line or measured circle. When there are no datums referenced, there is a "workplane" toggle on the "reporting" tab of the geometric tolerance dialog (and a corresponding control in the edit window command). When you have one or more datums, the datum reference frame defines the workplane orientation. In your case, you have a primary datum A which you say is a cylinder - what vector does that cylinder's axis have? It needs to be perpendicular to your scan or set of points. For example, if your scan or set of points is in a single level around the outside of the part, and that parts top face is facing +Z then your cylinder would need a ± Z vector (0,0,1 or 0,0,-1).
