Hey all,
I'm trying to calibrate a probe at a length we don't typically use, and it won't calibrate. It's like pc dmis thinks it's too long. When calibrating A0B0 it will take the first hits correct, then go down further in the Z- direction and starts hitting the shank of the 2 by 40 probe. Then finishes and gives me an error. The probe I'm trying to calibrate is...
>converttoM2 >60mmext >20mmext >2mmx40tip total length being 120mm, not counting the convert to M2 piece. Any tips?
The only other thing you can try is redoing your lower matrix calibration.
Make sure you establish a master probe and sustain it with the appropriate name for rack calibration (LSPX1H_CALPROBECHANGER Blah blah blah per the help file).
If lower matrix cal fails, you crashed your sensor too hard and need RBE replacement. Last year it was $15,444, with a $5,560 credit for the core. State of the art precision = art prices, i guess.
