Probe missing calibration sphere

Probe missing calibration sphere, whenever i manually touch the sphere with the master probe as A0B0, it then goes to the next angle e.g. A90B90 and misses the sphere by alot. Does anyone know what this could be?

Thanks again

  • If the defined assembly is incorrect, this will happen. Let's say the physical components add up to 150 mm in length but what you define comes out to 140 in length, A0B0 (whatever angle is first) will always work. When it rotates the writ it assumes the correct defined length from the joint and moves the ruby to that position. Double check the theoretical build up compared to the physical components you have in place. Did you miss a converter? an extension? the length of the final tip component?
