I'm in the middle of inspecting a very junk part...but they want some numbers. Anyway, I've been updating the off features by having it read the machine position. However, this morning I noticed it was updating the THEOs as well. Any way to disable that? Thank you
Enable the errorchecking feature for the autofeature in question. When the machine notices that it can measure the feature due to the offset, it will ask you to center the probe in the feature and hit OK. It will then measure from that center point. When asked if you want to update the THEO's to reflect this new (wrong) position, click NO. This will keep your original THEO's but with updated MEAS values.
Thank you for the insight. So, I take it all the THEOs it did change, I probably have to restart...correct? Or can I reset THEOs back to what they were and keep my targets? I really appreciate everyones help. Thank again
I've never seen it ask to 'update THEO' values, only TARGET values when using the READPOS option. Is this something they have messed up in newer versions?
This applies when using the errorhandling for autofeatures, not when using the READPOS in autofeatures. But you are correct, it is asking to update the TARG, not the THEO - my bad.
