Double rotary

Hi all,
I would like to place an horizontal rotary on a vertical one, as stacked rotaries.
To test the solution, I only have a manual rotary without readers.
In PC-DMIS, I can defined stacked rotaries only in dcc.
I can define a manual single rotary, and select something like "manualindexstandalone" to get the angle.
Is there any way to do the same with stacked rotaries (external ? hidden parameter ?)
I tested dual rotaries, but it doesn't work as I want...

  • the ROTABISMANUALINDEXSTANDALONE setting was put in for testing purposes many years ago, for me. I have a single small table which has no communications with the software nor the controller hardware. I use it mainly to test the math functions which are involved with rotating the table. It is not at all precise as I cannot guarantee that the angle I am instructed to turn to is actually what is positioned on the table itself, but close enough for my purposes. It should not be set by anyone using tables of any kind. There are no other hidden parameters. So to answer your question, I know of no way to do what you want with stacked rotary tables.

Thx Don for the answer, even if it's not what I'm waiting for...
I just would like to test this solution before going further.
