We just purchased an old Sheffield Cordax Discovery D-12. and it was working fine at the company that we bought it from and for few days it ran perfectly at our premises, all of a sudden the machine ran away and gave the error. We got an Mp-176 error. We clear the error but it still keeps returning. the weird thing is how the machine moves when we power the servos up. Video is included. and that is a code that comes on the board in the machine. Does that have any meaning??
See what happened the machine was on but not doing anything. then suddenly it moved by its self in the x,y and z axis by its self. and alarmed out the mp-176. Ever since then it jerks in all 3 axis with the same alarm. we even when we let took the belt off of the z-axis so that the motor could turn free it would alarm. why does it move when powered on all of a sudden. its not supposed to do that??
