So I have a cylinder with a vector facing the Y axis and a plane facing Z plus. Xplus workplane. When I dimension they distance of the cylinder to the plane I get a deviation of 0.0012". When I dimension the same features but with no radius op tion by deviation is 0.0000". Why do they not match?
The first option is to the centre of the feature regardless of the feature size.
The second option is dependant on the feature position and size.
So as example if the position was plus 0.001 and the diameter plus 0.002 the result would be perfect distance when calculated against the nominals.
