We used to "loop" our alignments to a measured "break condition" before running our programs (this was to ensure the mathematical skew of the part after on alignment loop had compensated the proper amount and direction for the misalignment of the part on the fixture.)
but iterative alignment works only with points ? points not allways are enouf, i have parts where i cannot make lignment this way
in calypso it can work with entire elements like lines planes also made of few other elemnts.
