Need help for Blade inspection

I am using PC-DMIS version 4.1, mr-1. Need to inspect blade/blade twist. How can I using noted software? Note: After reading the forums can I come to the conclusion that without "Blade" software and training that it is almost impossible?

  • Blade is very "specialized". I've just started using it in December after going to a one-on-one training class in Huntersville NC. You need a "special probe tip", you have to set the part on the cmm a "special way", "special help files", etc., etc. There are many different techniques (per customer) to measuring Airfoil features, and Blade tries to accomodate them. So getting your many parameters set to match your B/P and specs will be very hard and time consuming, without the proper training. Good luck.
