output program runtime

I've searched for this as I know this has been discussed once or twice. Can you output the runtime of a program? Or track it somehow just bu executing a program?

We are running CMMs (machinists, QA techs) virtually around the clock and boss want to know if we can track this for a week or so to justify getting a person to just run parts for the machinists.

  • You can use this command line somewhere on your report template to show the run time:

    =ELAPSEDTIME()

    Not running 4.2MR1 on the floor. CMMs are still running V3.7MR3 and I don't think this will work this way.

    In V3.7MR3 I've tried playing with this as an input, tried assigning it, don't know where or what to use with it. Just a little more detail please.

    Can I pull the time off the footer and send it to a file?
