CMM Probing of Non-Geometric Surface

Our CMM does not have scanning capability and I have a CAD model that has a non-geometric surface (my term). I took hits on the surface using auto vector points but then what? I could not find an auto-feature that seemed to want to digest the hits and come back with a surface or anything else. Point me in the right direction please.

  • I'm running 2023.1. When I create a feature set, I do not get an option to add as many features as I want, it appears to only hit the same point as many times as input and then create an average from all of the hits. This is what the help explanation states as well. Has this changed from earlier versions? A google search displayed a input screen that would allow me to add features to the feature set but I don't know what version of PCDMIS that came from.
