Hi
I have three datum targets these are three areas, each of them contain several points. Two of this planes have to be moved in Z axis so i can create datum of it.
Is it possible ? so i can make plane and offset it instead of making each individual point and offseting it ?
offseting plane by construction > offset plane is not an option i need a plane witch contains points and deviations
Consolidate each of the datum target areas into 1 best fit point point each. (if you are using a plane feature, use points instead)
Then create offset points as needed.
Then construct a plane out of your resulting 3 points that are all now on the same level.
Not sure what you mean by needing the points and deviations, your datum should be what is used to measure all the deviations from?
yes there is a flatnes [CZ] requirement on this whole plane. In this case i need more points for this reason and also its kind of areas like lines while using 3 points it may be too nrrow for good simulation of real datum (whenever if it really can be)
Making offset points not takes a lot of time its just made me 40 elements on list instead of 6 so its more scroling its not awesome. but its good to know what is possible and what not
Thank you
