Any known reason my diameters are being picked up like this?

Was wondering, I'm checking some parts with 10-32 inserts and out of nowhere a few goofy things are happening. I have nom set for the inserts at .156 off the cad model.

However, there's two holes that are measuring at .007". Anyone know why this may be?

maybe it is just far enough off location that it is triggering on the opposite side of the instead of the side it should be touching on. That will mess up the results....

Maybe try a smaller probe????

Or try READ POS to get on center
