Many times, when programing with a CAD, the surface I need to make the line path or point on is behind the probe. This makes it difficult to click on the correct surface. Is there a way in PC-DIMS to hide the probe from the view to make programing easier.?
"If you make the probe transparent, I also suggest enabling High Quality Transparency. This will allow you to see features through the probe."
Great suggestion. I just need make a few measurements with the view of the probe in my way. I tried turning the view of the probe off the doing my editing on CAD this morning. Then turned the view of the probe back on. Worked great.
WilliamL, Bummer - I've been there before. Silly how a company will shell out thousands of dollars for an offline seat but put it on the cheapest computer they can find.
