Try a cylindrical probe and not use edge points on sheet metal parts? Whoever employs you will likely jump at the chance to speed things up and save money. And read the descriptions in the help file, it worked wonders for me when I first started! (when in doubt try YouTube University, someone can explain most PC-DMIS functions with words and moving pictures)
