Does anyone happen to have some experience using PC-DMIS GEAR? I am trying to figure out how to correctly set up the folders in the alignment and measure tabs. the probe file I obviously understand but what is the difference between the "saved alignment file" and the 'initial alignment file' that can be imported if you check the box at the bottom? Also If I am trying to import an alignment or save an alignment file does that mean just a manual alignment of a plane and a cylinder or does it need to have the DCC go through as well? After I run the alignment through GEAR it rewrites my pcdmis alignment file so I rewrite out the alignment and have tried several different ways but no results ending with any success. Any help or knowledge would be greatly appreciated, thank you all.
