Can't select line, only edge points.

Is this a CAD model you've done programming on before? And it used to do lines when holding shift? I know PC-DMIS highlights the features when holding shift, and it usually chooses the "best" option when using that function.

No this is a new model, however the other models I've previously used auto line on, will not allow me to select the line features. It just defaults to edge point for every single line. 

I just verified the following on my PC using 2023.2....

Holding down shift and doing a single left mouse click near an edge will create an edge point. 

Holding down shift, holding the left mouse button down and dragging the mouse pointer along an edge, then releasing will create a line.

That's an odd change. Is that in any of the release notes?

I'm not sure, I think it has behaved that way for a while.

It may be because I use 2021.2. I never get edge points as options for the auto feature generation using highlighting. I've tried to click and drag and any maneuvers I could, and it doesn't change the outcome.
