Yes, a PIERCE POINT works in this example
First you have to select a line or a cylinder (the axis is used for a cylinder). The second element you need is an element with a surface, in this case the larger cylinder.
Whether the PIERCE POINT is created at the top or bottom depends on the vector direction of the first element. If it is the wrong way up, it can be turned around with a constructed "UMK Line".
