PC-DMIS Program Migration

I am using the utilities provided by Hexagon for the routine migrations. There are a number of the auto back up files with name PRG^ and PRG~ that fail the migration. It is my understanding that these files are the auto back up files that PC-DMIS creates. My question is: Do I need to worry about deleting these files when migrating to newer versions or can I just leave them in the folder?

Please advise.

They are indeed backups, you do not need to worry about them when migrating to a newer version. I've migrated once in the past and had no issues with the backups being there. That is also when it was an upgrade that didn't have too large of a gap between PC-DMIS versions.
