If you have a hole pattern that has all six degrees of freedom constrained and no modifiers, would you in theory get the same position results whether you dimensioned them separately or as a pattern? I'm asking because I'm dealing with an older routine that has the holes dimensioned separately and when I change it to a pattern, I'm getting different results. Normally this is to be expected if they're dimensioned to just AB for example. But I would think if they're fully constrained, then I should be getting the same results individually vs a pattern. Or am I missing something?
