Deleting Probe Angles

so you have a star probe (probe cluster?).  and you only want to use two or of the 5 probes on that star probe, leaving the probe cal -in excess- by 3 styli?

are you trying to delete the angles themselves from the "active tip list", or are you trying to delete the probes from the probe description/build list (my empty connections below)

I only have 3 tips but when I selected an angle for a tip it creates that angle for the 2 other tips as well. Which I don't need or want to calibrate.

When you are doing star probes, you create parameter sets for the qualifying sphere for calibration don't you? So you can pick Northwest or Southeast sphere, or whatever your setup is.

No not familiar with that. Just have one sphere.

Before you select measure, click "mark used". This will only calibrate the tips and angles used in the program.

I can tell you the work around solution for your scenario. After adding ech angle to a particular tip, you can select the unwanted angles which gets added automatically to the other two tips (As in your scenario) and delete them in the probe utility window before proceeding with the next angle addition. It may take time but serves the purpose.
