Checking probe files for size and length

Hello! Add the .prb files in your probe directory and then find in the program the probe command and press f9 to see the built. Keep in mind that if geometry permits it you can modify the tips used (example: going from a 5mm dia to 4mm dia) according to your availability

thanks for the reply! ive put it in the directory, pulled it up in a program but when i open the probe command it tells me "No probe defined:"

Hmm, do you happen to have the same head config? Brainstorming here, it may be also related to the PCdmis version (they having a newer version) but this is almost unlikely to have anything to do with it

 jonathan nguyen You need to close PC-DMIS.  Then go to your probe file directory and DELETE any files that have the names of the new probe files you were sent.  Then copy the new probe files into the probe folder again.  I'm guessing you had PC-DMIS open with the program loaded when you copied the probe files into you folder before.  Because the program was loaded BEFORE the real probe files existed, PC-DMIS would have created empty probe files with the names used in the program.

This was the exact fix. thank you very much! the file directory was populated with 1KB when it shouldnt have been.
