Tigo issues with Program changing nominal values

Hello everyone,

so, I am new to this company, and they just bought 2 brand-new Tigo CMM's and had an outside programmer create the first sets of programs for the machines. what is happening is when we have a crash do to miss aligned parts and restart the programs the nominal values change and have cussed many more problems. the programs are lock out with Read-only protection, but the nominal values are still changing. I have made backup copies of the programs and when I load those programs the values change as well when I start the program. this looks like it is only happening on one of the Tigo's, any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

  • are there variables used in any of the alignments?  That is bad, m'kay?

is there at least ONE alignment that locks all 6 DOF in the program?  if not, that is bad, m'kay?

are you using network files for these, like network probe files or network external alignments?  that is bad, m'kay?

    Yes

No, everything is local to the machine. the backup programs are stored on a thumb drive and saved on owner network. where I get the backups from say the thumb drive or network the nominal values change when I start to run the program.
