I am measuring a rectangular part that is 30" by 12" by .375" thick that has one datum along one of the length sides, another along one of the width sides, and the last datum on top of the part. The part has many holes and slots called out for true position to the three datums. Could someone walk me through the process of what to do in calling out true position of these holes and slots? This would be my first time using true position, I am using a Romer arm with PC DMIS 2011. Thanks in advance.
