Features disappearing

We are using pcdmis 2011 on a romer infinite arm.
In the past two months features have started disappearing from the screen after being measured.
This is measuring features without a cad model.
This has made made measuring parts very difficult, imagine measuring 20 holes and before doing the dimensional locations they disappear from the screen.
Closing and restarting the program does not put the features back on the screen. They are on the program stack but not the screen. This does not happen on all programs, only some.
I do use the feature appearance box to manage screen clutter, but the features that are vanishing are doing so by their own volition and do not come back when selecting the item in the box and selecting "on".
The only way i have found to get the features back is to remeasure the features. This does not work by simply rerunning the program, once they are gone
rerunning does not put the features back on the screen.
Any suggestions?
My run times are suffering badly when i have to do a part twice.

Your measured hole should typically show a solid line along the circumference of the circle using three points ie... if all three points cover 180 degrees you would see a half circle, or if past 270 degrees you could see a 3/4 or 1/4 circle. This is based mostly on observing many no-cad model programs I have written. An easy way to keep them on the screen is to duplicate the circles as constructed circles out of the measured circles. It is a little redundant but it works
