Merging two poinntclouds

If I am scanning a model and I have to move to the model to get surface that cannot be reached by the first position, is there a way to align and merge the two point clouds together to make one point cloud of the 3 dimensional object?

Read the Help Menu on Equate Alignment.

That will help you to reposition and then realign your part.

Then you can keep scanning. whether that becomes part of a new pointcloud or the same pointcloud is up to you.
