Hoping I can get some help. My company has a Romer RA-7525 and we are having issues. I cannot seem to get any sort of repeatability on dimensions that I measure. Often times as far out as .3000 or more. We currently use the 3mm ruby head as the default tip for all our measurements, I'm wondering if maybe we should be using another head? Movement of the parts is not an issue as they are jigged in place. Again, hoping maybe someone can provide some insight. Thanks!
As VPT mentioned, this should be in the PC-DMIS Portable forum.
But, things like calibration/qualification, loose tip, and improper code could cause this.
Without more info, it's hard to say.
Kind of like calling a mechanic and saying, "My car is making a noise, Why?"
