John,
I was able using the vector point and created group and used surface profile for dimensioning. Then the system crashed on me so I have to start over and not sure how did the first time. What I am stuck right now is grouping all of the Vector in set for surface profile dimensioing.
Here the steps
1) Alignment (CAD and Part to CAD Model)
2) Defined Datum Plan A B &C
3a) Create a Point AutoTrigger Command with 'On' and 'Beeping On' selected (under F10)
3b) Open the Auto Vector Point Dialog Box
3c) Click many AV Points on the model
3d) Create another Point AutoTrigger Command with 'Off' selected under F10
4) Create a Constructed Feature Set
5) Choose all your AV Points
6) Create a Profile Dimension
7) Define your Datums A,B,C with the 'Datum Definition' button
8) Build your FCF like on the drawing
9) Execute
Also when I hit control Q to do the alignment of the part, the popup box appears with "Machine Error". Please see attached and let me know if it is normal I did some wrong.
Your help is greatly appreaciate
