PC DMIS 2014- 1st quirk I've found so far

First off I'm running a Romer 7535 arm with a Dell Intel lap top, and I've recently upgraded from PC-DMIS 2013 SP3 to PC-DMIS 2014.
All seems well so far except, whenever I start to manipulate the model on the graphic display, like rotate or zoom etc, the software starts to freeze up throwing out that ugly "Not Responding" note at me. I noticed it just doesn't seem to let me move surfaces from one layer to another either. Seems pretty much any graphic manipulation throws it out of whack. I've been having to make the changes I need to models with an outside CAD program before loading into PC DMIS. Anyone else notice this or anything similar?
  • Not exactly the same as you, but if my COP gets too large, my graphics slow way down. If I turn the COP off, my graphics work fine.
  • yes. so far, it appears to be related to the old setting of how many points' id labels can be drawn per screen at one time (100/per, or 400/per?), which has disappeared from the settings editor for some reason. all my programs have f5 setting for auto label positioning checked, so whenever an old program is opened up, all those labels are drawn (in the background, maybe), for potential auto positioning. Turning off auto label position seems to be a temporary 'fix', as well as changing antialiasing to 4x and tessellation to .25 or higher. I am surprised no one else is seeing this (tech support stated that I was the only one), unless I am the only one using auto label positioning? hopefully the next service pack will fix it.
