Fellas, correct me if I am wrong, wasn't there a Romer option where you can use the larger probe that typically would not fit into a hole and still measure the location and the Dia of the hole with one click?
If so, can someone explain how to select that option.
You need to be careful if it is a tight tolerance hole - any edge break or deburr will add depth to the probe and give you a larger reading, and if the hole is not deburred, a burr can cause the same issue the opposite direction. Under "measure circle" you have the option of 3 point or single point. Make sure your workplane is the surface the hole enters or it will error out.
