Romer Arm Scanner PROBLEM!

Hi there,

I have been using the romer absolute arm for the past year but today the laser scanner has suddenly stopped working.

The power to the scanner seems non-existent as the green power button isn't on. It doesn't seem to be recognising that the scanner is even there. The scanner is a HP-L-20.8.

Please can someone help if they have experienced this issue before and possibly get back to me with a fix.

I would guess that the power supply took a dump. If the light on the power supply isn't on, it isn't making power. It IS plugged it, right?

Well, you can play with the power supply, flip it over, jiggle the cords, etc. I had to replace mine a couple years ago.

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to state that there is power to the arm but there is no power to the attached laser scanner.
