Has anyone experienced the Romer Absolute arms with the rounded ergonomic wrists taking double hits when only pressing the button once? We have experienced it on both a rental and our new one we just purchased. We can't seem to figure out why it is doing this and if it is an arm issue, or a setting in RDS or PC-DMIS 2018 that is causing the button to be so sensitive. An example is taking 4 points for a plane. When the operator pushes the middle button, it will sometimes take 2 points when the operator intends to take only one at a single location of the 4 point plane.
If you hold the button to long to take a point it goes into scanning mode and you can scan numerous points. Maybe look at your Parameter settings under F10 key
