5 minutes to write a Romer CMM program with cad

Did anyone see that article in this month's Qulity Magazine about creating a Vision CMM program with cad in 5 minutes? I forget what software it was and any details but man did we get a kick out of that one... I'd go into more specifics but Mr. Henger put the magazine away before he went home (lucky dog he beat me out of here). HELLL, it takes me longer than 15 minutes sometimes just to import my cad model yet alone program with it. No wonder why my bosshole thinks I'm scrooging him half the time if he reads malarkey like that...
  • Is this resolved? Are we under the 5 minute mark yet?
  • lots of choice for viewing

    Haaahaaahaaahaaahhhaaaa!

Lots of choice I guess but no matter how many channels you get (broadcast, cable or satelite) there will almost never be anything on that is worth watching. Except of course for those rare occassions where something really, really good is going to be on but your wife already has plans for you to go visit your mother-in-law.
  • I have this antenna that is soppose to get HD definition. it does O.K. I'm not much of a TV watcher. Back in the day of dish network cards I had friends in low placesSmileyAstonished
Do you know when the law takes effect Matt????

I think they are supposed to be all digital before the end of THIS decade, but i am thinking it was by 2008, but am not sure. This law was supposed to free-up band-width that the current analog telecasts fill up and they want to use them for other things, like police/fire/phone/etc. because the digital signal travels on a narrower bandwidth (as well as a different one), but this is all coming from some deep crevice in my mind, so I am not 100% sure of the facts.

Funny thing about the web site.....

DTV was the name of the TV channel in Shock Treatment, the 'sequal' to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Denton TV. Now I got some of those songs going through my head...... (lots of room for them, they don't even bump into each other!)
