Changing alignment after pointcloud is created

Good morning guys,

I just scanned a part and aligned the 2 COPS using the point pairs method and then aligned COP3 by using a best fit to the model. The engineer would now like to see the colormap from specific features that I would have to probe. I know there has to be a way to create a separate alignment while still using the original pointcloud but I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Would somebody be able to point me in the right direction?

You would have to probe your new features and align and zero to them. Then translate the trihedron back to the original orign using either print or CAD nominals and then hit CAD=Part. Make sure you save the file before doing a CAD=Part in case it screws it up.
