Multiple Arm Mode

Hey all,

Hardware: 2x Romer Infinite Arms (5000 series), hopefully my 8525s come this month!
Software: Currently using a mix of PC-DMIS CAD++ release 2020 R1 (when needed) and 2021.1.

I ran across some mentions of Multiple Arm Mode in some literature that I was skimming through as was wondering if anyone had any experience with using this function, difficulties involved vs. leapfrogging and cost for turning the function on (if this can be discussed) since it appears to be part of an add-on pack.

Not with the romer. But the largest machine I have operated was a refurbished stiefelmayer dual arm horizontal cmm that was rebranded as a B&S Gage 3000 or something. A bit more added on to a normal program as you are trying to control both at the same time without colliding in the common zone. Basically it was 2 cmm's on the same bed. Operate them separately or together.
